tell me the last time,, u had a box'n card... top to bottom exciting... knockouts, blood, and entertaining???? Since when did a constant blood fest and arms/legs being broken from pressure points, become entertaining? When it makes it to the Olympics, and schools/colleges adopt it...Holla at me. Until then, this isn't a sport....just purely glorified "entertainment." ~Goodz~

Honestly, I tried to and just can’t get into MMA, cause it's just WAY too inconsistent for me. It’s way too much potshotting going on, it looks like half the time they don’t put a lot of power into their blows and grabs when they have the opportunity. Not to mention the knockouts, sometimes I see a dude lose off of three blows, then other times the ref lets them go in the exact same situation. THEN, they’re a new champ almost EVERY month! I understand they gotta have rules to keep dudes from getting killed or major bones broken. But that shows me that the way it’s structured, it’s just too random and they’re are way too many “lucky” knockouts. Now I totally respect these guys, they’re martial artists and just as skilled as boxers in their respective disciplines. But boxing is a way more consistent and strategic sport for me, almost every time the better man is gonna come out the winner. That’s why we have what’re called “rubber matches” cause out of 3 fights, the better man ALWAYS comes out on top. Boxing just comes across more like anart as opposed to MMA sloppiness. It’s called the sweet science for a reason. However I do persoanlly recognize it as a sport, but Good has a point. They haven’t adopted it as an Olympic sport YET (they’re talking about it). Even extreme sports have been made Olympic and rightly so.

MMA is more of a chest match... b/c at any moment at any sec,,, make the wrong move and its lights out.... knockout.chokeout.TAPOUT!!!! I won't go as far as good and day it's NOT a sport. And MMA IS exciting SOMETIMES, don't get me wrong. But it's just too inconsistent fro me to be a fan. But come on my dude, boxing is BORING?! Nasty you keep trying and FAILing repeatedly my dude. MMA is more of a chest match... b/c at any moment at any sec,,, make the wrong move and its lights out.... knockout.chokeout.TAPOUT!!!! As I said Until " MMA" is in the Olympics...and or "schools/colleges" adopt it...again...Holla at me. Golf is not an olympic sport... but is in your school systems/colleges. Ping Pong made it to the Olympics...and MMA has yet after how many years of existence again? You made a great point there Nasty....that's that it's merely "entertainment" and not taking seriously in the sports realm. And as always...when comparing it to boxing, at the end of the day, whether it's at a school, club, sporting events amongst athelete's or even fan's...in the heat of the moment, hands will always get thrown over "leg locks" and "martial art moves." When's the last time you seen an official/referee break up a fight on the gridiron, court, ice rink or baseball diamond from someone doing martial arts? It is what it is. ~The Voice of Reason~
