| This game is a great improvement over the already crisp Rock Band. Now you have full band (clan) support, a cleaner user interface, more songs and you can import your whole library over from Rock Band. The biggest improvement is the instrument calibration, now what you see, hear and play will never be offbeat and you won't miss those crucial extra notes. I already started The Mvmt band for anyone who wants to join up. Tony’s Score 9.5/10 Lee, holla at me when you’re ready to duel a Rock God… | |

| LOL, that's a good one, but the general consensus is that Hendrix was the GOAT, lad. The list starts AFTER Jimi, m'boy! NOW, tonight's assignment is to listen to every Experience and Band of Gypsies album, ten times each until you have a more enlightened understanding of exactly what this cat was able to do with a guitar. | |

Jimmy Jimi Now Jimmy Page was great, but Hendrix just made his guitar sing man, I mean this dude was bananas. What else do you listen to besides Zeppelin and The Jonas Brothers?

| Jonas Brothers...Seriously little stereotypical for the people of my age. But its understandable since not many people my age listen to good music. Hendrix is definitely one of my favorite 3 guitarists he was great. Don't worry I know who was/is out there so I know what i'm talkin about. | |

| Well put, lad. I'm glad to see a punk like you listening to good music. Speaking of which, there LOTS of albums dropping this quarter. There's like five albums I gotta DL tonight alone. | |

| Word from the game developers from the CES floor is that there will be no Rock Band 3 this year, because it cuts back on development for each individual game. And one isn't needed IMO, RB2 is as good as it gets for right now. A Beatles game is coming and they want to work with Zeppelin tracks (there you go Lee). Also they MAY be adding a keyboard in the future. On the Guitar Hero front, a patent was taken out not too long ago for DJ Hero, so I'd expect some sort of DJ/Hip Hop/Club game for Rockband in the future as well. I'd imagine a turntable, mic and mixer/drum machine of some sort. The reason why I don't post any Guitar Hero info is because I'm a RB guy. I had GH 1 and 2 for the '2, but RB is just slightly more polished game and adult game. It has more bells and whistles, not to mention the instruments are better quality and look a lil closer to the real thing. | |

| I haven't played Rockband. My brother was going to get it so I figured I'd play it at his house. He went with World Tour though... I wasn't impressed. I don't have a whole lot of friends over to the house that play video games so... it seemed silly for me to buy it and play alone. But I guess its online multiplayer? | |

| Yeah! I told you I started the MVMT band (someone already took "The Movement" ), you can add permanent member and backup’s. There's LOTS of multiplayer options, people actually form bands online (guitar, drums, bass, vocals) and put out adds to recruit. it's more or less like running a small clan. And the character creation is DOPE, you can make multiple avatars and there A LOT of options for clothes, instruments and accessories. The coolest thing is that on the RB site, you can take and edit pics of your band and actually make real action figures and clothing out of them! Not to mention they’re new games every week and the library is at about 500 or so songs right now. A ROCK GOD!!! It really doesn't get much better than me Muffy. Me, my girl and another character I made. The band (clan) logo I made, pretty clean, IMO. | |

| Looks cool. I'll have to consider it... in these hard economic times Everytime I keep saying I'm buying nothing else for a while... you twist my arm. LOL Fallout was a great recommendation though. I don't spend a whole lot of money on anything else though. Its how I justify my multiple game spending. | |

| Maybe I should make YOU and post the pics and that'll FORCE you to buy it! Maybe I'll do that tonight. And the sad thing is that my avatar is ALMOST as sexy as me in person! I know, I can't afford to have a lot of games, even though I've bought damn near every hot game since the PS3 came out!! One day I sat back and I added up how much dough I've spent already and I could've bought my new flatscreen with it! The way i do it is just to pic ONE game from each genre and stick with it. One racer, one third person shooter, one music game etc and do it like that. | |

I buy about 15 disc games a year, but this year I may cut down a bit. Because there so much to do with the '3, I won't have as much free time as I used to and games are offering more with extra's which brings me to my next point... - Quote :

Many new games offer a site with and online ID that allows you to sync you PSN ID and e-mail and access content and features on said site. Like the Rockstar Social Club lets you upload in-game pics from GTA and Midnight Club, that’s how I got those pics of my cars. It also offers social networking, leaderboards and stats. And the Rockband site takes it even further, any avatar you make is automaitcally synced to the website and once your there I have many options at my disposal. I can take my avatars and band and pose him them in diff positions and adjust the poses, expression, lighting, background etc. Crazier, you you can actually have action figures made of your band or you can make real clothes and accessories for you to wear in real life. Gaming is SERIOUS business these days, the gaming industry has actually GROWN 10% during the recession while we see other industries are failing. Over the holidays game store lines were LITERALLY almost out the door (it took me an hour+ to get my Chatpad), because the only presents many people were buying were games. Many developers want to offer a MySpace or Facebook-like social networking experience with their sites, offering more than just a basic forum.

Yeah man, it's no joke. They charge $1.99 for almost all individual tracks in the Store, that's more than iTunes prices. It also boosts the music industry and artists due to the fact that they eat off this as well. Then many of the songs are classics and it introduces them to new demographics as well. And most of the games I saw people are purchasing over the holidays were either RB or GT for all systems. - Quote :

As you should be baby. But hey, next time your "rewarding" yourself, holla at me...
