True indeed, true indeed. NY has been weak the last few years (don't get me started ) , and ya'll been carrying it down there. But you see, as long as this man is still alive then the crown resides here, my dude. The King of NY is the king of Hip Hop, the whole game. That's why dudes like TI say king of the SOUTH out of respect for the GOAT.

Talib was just here a few weekeends ago...a friend of mine was in a club and bumped into and started chopping it up with him. I've never met him, but everyeone I know that has, always says he's humble and down to earth. I have a potna that plays/produces for Erykah...that was one of the first stories I heard of Talib.

that is awesome jay. i have seen talib alot never meet him though but have always heard nothing but good things about him. i still listen to all of his albums all the time he really keeps it real and tells it like it is and i respect him for that even though he probably doesnt like white ppl very much...lol... i know his man mos def doesnt but they both still get my money..lol

i did meet jurassic 5 a few times and akil actually remembered me from the last time that i had talked to him. that was pretty cool they put on one hell of a live show. they have a DJ set that can last anywhere from 30min to an hour that is beyond anything that most most dj will do.

I can't believe it. cats not from NY actually know of Big L. I am impressed. Right now Goodz, I'm checking the We Mean Business album. Yall should know who.

Good to know pranc. Headz don't know about Dallas until they actually come here. That goes for the artists too.

that is very true and when the artist do come if they get a good turn out they will be back alot. and then there are some that just never make to dallas at all. even when the tour that they were on comes to dallas they leave the tour. i.e. gangstarr twice i missed them and wu-tang at least twice they missed too. that sucks because those were the two that i always wanted to see the most live...

Don't even get me started on that. Tha illest rarely come through. Not to mention we get a jacked up rep due to these tens of thousands of listeners who know absolutely nothing about skillz.
