| This is for Almighty and whoever else wants to get this game. Its a chess game obviously and it isn't being released in the U.S. It's awesome and a must by if you're a chess fan. As we all know I'm a big NERD so I love it. I got my copy from this seller on ebay who I trust. I don't know if he has more (he had a lot when I bought it.) Delivery takes a while because its being shipped from the U.K. (3 weeks for my copy.) It was cheap... $25 with shipping. You also want to make sure and ask that the copy is compatible. I think there's a french and german version and I know the german version is compatible and has trophy support. If the seller I listed doesn't have any more copies you can do a search for it on ebay. I just wouldn't buy from an overseas seller that doesn't at least have a 99% rating. I've bought from this guy a few times. Never had any issues. http://myworld.ebay.com/entertainmentandmoviecollectables | |

| I loved battle chess. I use to play it like crazy on this old school Macintosh that my mom had. Unfortunately it is not like battle chess. It would be awesome to watch the queen behead people.
It does have some innovative ways to play chess differently. There are puzzles that are chess based and also chess games where the peices are placed differently at the starting position.
But no gore. Boo.
Still worth the buy though.

| lol right on, i only remember the rook/ rock monster that would eat the pieces it conquered, will check it out, and by compatible what are you referring to being able to be played on us ps3's??? or backwards compatible???? cause if those are one in the same that would be great, i mean i know that ps itself was trying to adhere to us copyright laws which is why games you bought in japan couldn't be played on ps2's unless they were chipped. but if you can play different ps3 games from other regions that would be oh so sweet, cause there are a butt load of ps3 games i would start ordering now from japan if it were so. | |

| I did not know that Gar. I hate Home though. I'm not sure I'd get on there to play chess.
I don't know if all regions games are compatible with PS3's here in the states. I think Japanese games may not be. I read on the forums that certain games in france also aren't compatible. So I'm not real sure if they all are.

| Thanks Muff, I played Battle Chess as well when I was a lad. PSN definetly needs more basic games as well, but this will do for now. | |

| So this game is great but totally pisses me off cuz I can't beat the 3rd boss. I thought I was fairly good at chess but I guess not LOL | |
