just depends on the server.. some servers go fast others are slow sorta depends on the ping at times.

How do you record matches like this via video? What all is needed? And what program do they use for the wording?

I have an HD digital camera that I set up on a tripod. The words you just add on with the editing program. I know the basic program I used on Windows can do everything he has there I just didn't have the time to really play with it. Its not too hard once you figure it all out.
I don't know if he has some sort of video capture. I'd bet that he just sets his camera up though.

So is that recording directly to the HD of the PS3 or to a card? To record a file of that long, a whole match, I'd imagine that would be a pretty big file?

Yeah. The HD digital video cameras themselves can hold a lot. Mine holds like 30 hours of footage. You can also buy memory cards for the cameras that hold a lot of footage. I have about 10 hours of stuff stored on mine right now.
Then I just hook it up through USB to the computer and pull the files off that way. It wasn't a terribly expensive camera either. I bought it on black friday for 499.99 on sale... regular price was 699.99.

yeah monkeyboi3 uses a capture card. which plugs into the TV and records everything that the T.V sees that's how when its on youtube it has the same graphics as when playing on your own T.V.

hold on hold on hold on,,,, trail you're saying that your game goes that fast??? seriously? mine has the one speed and one speed only, up until i only thought there is one speed.... so you're saying that some games with good ping you actually move faster???? can anyone else chime in on this??? because after seeing that match with those two up there, mine looks like i am running through mud all the time, alot slower than what's in that vid...
