I'd be careful not to catch me on the wrong day talking reckless like that my dude. I'm at my best in this than in ANY other game. Only ONE person has been able to beat me, ONE. I can box in any division with damn near anyone in the game.

It was supposed to drop in April, but it got pushed back and that's usually not a bad thing.
I hope that they get more current boxers in the game, they need the top 10 fighters for every division along with the top three belts for each. FIFA, NHL and Live have all stepped up to Maddens level with the extras and FN has to aw well.

I remember the old Knockout Kings had a WAY better roster:

FINALLY were gonna have some sort of clinching and in-fighting. They had to add that for Mike's old style.

More screens and a solid release date and info in a few weeks.

My goons did some reconnaissance and got the info sooner than I thought. Well it looks like EA took their time and they’re putting the extra polish on this one like they do the rest of their library. There was a wishlist compiled on IGN and it had any and everything you could think of and the developers said that they have included most of those wishes.

• The game features at least a dozen venues from around the world. They are more built than previous titles. This includes more activity around the apron during a fight.

• Fighters confirmed so far Tyson, Ali, Lennox Lewis, sugar Ray, Winky Wright, Sergio Mora and Emanuel Augustus.

• The strength of a punch is no longer how far back you pull the analogue stick, but how cleanly you make contact.

• If you’re in close to your opponent and don’t get full arm extension, the power behind your punches are weakened.

• Boxers now have more hit zones in their faces, and different punches will have different effects depending on where they land.

• Blocking now has a meter, this meter decays over time, your overall risk increases as the meter decreases.

• Punches can break through your guard and your arms can be knocked out the way much easier as your opponent works your defense.

• Fight Night’s new physics system is better suited to providing more realistic outcomes during the moment to moment flow of two boxers constantly trading punches.

Hmmmm, well if it were up to me I'd include the top 10 in every weight division. He's ranked in the top 10 in many lists. To tell you the truth I get tired of playing with legends all the time. I wanna hop and and be able to play most of the top fights on HBA and Showtime with the current guys. Now if the have the create a boxer RIGHT, then we'll be able to easily create the Sandman's, Apollo Creed's and such.

Okay Movement we have some real news on this finally. EA hosted one of their Community Event least week over two days. Over the past few years they been hosting these events where they invite gamers, writers, bloggers and sports figures to hang out with the producers and devlopers and give crucial feedback on early builds of the game. They come in and give their views on the old game then play the new one and give their impressions on that one.

They've been doing it the past few years with Madden and NCAA Football and they've done it the past two years with Live. Then they release info over the net little by little to get our views on things, so us fans have a hand in directly shaping the games like never before. This has done WONDERS for Live which is usually viewed as 2nd after 2K (I of course disagree).

So this is the first time they've ever done it with FN and this shows that EA is taking this VERY serious as ever. So a few select people got invited to hang out with EA, Sugar Shane and Contender winner Sergio Mora were there. Dudes said they sparred and trained with them and EA kept them beered and winged up, LOL.

Of course they all signed non-disclosure agreements and they can't comment on details YET, but the consensus is that this is the most advanced and realistic boxing game EVER and nothing like Round 3 (in a good way)!!! And the ill thing is that the game is only a week out of alpha and we still have about four months to go! EA will release the first gameplay video next week. Ill post liks and pics up later.

EA is hosting another media event for all it's game and FN4 will show some real footage. The release date is mid-June and there will be a playable demo with preorders!

Presumably the roster for the Xbox 360 version is the same, as EA's made no mention of fighters being exclusive to the PS3/360. The scans note that additional boxers may be added as downloadable content after the game's release this summer.

Almighty said last night...when you reserve it, you get a code for the demo. Prolly will see about doing it sometime this week.

They also will have "gameface" or a face scan...like with the other EA title, Facebreaker. This is where if you have a picture, you can upload it through easportsworld.com, and go on your ps3 and download it for a custom boxer. If it's anything like the one on facebreaker...which I hope it is..since it's a more serious game....It's going to be a serious problem. I did mine, and many others...and it was very...very accurate.

Suppose to drop around Jun 24th.
