Starhawk Midnight Release

Have you guys looked into the midnight releases in your area? I called around yesterday and none of the Gamestops or anywhere are doing them in Houston. They said they didn't sell enough pre-orders Sad

Yeah...I went up there today, and the guy said he didn't see it happening b/c SH was the only game dropping on the 8th and the company (Game Stop) was going to go all out pushing Max Payne 3 the following Tuesday.

He said it could change if enough people pre order.

Yea I don't think they sold enough copies at my gamestop either Ill be there as soon as they open though.

I never thought about that...old school. lol I'ma holla at mine and see when they normally put out games. Once before they've been notorious for putting em out at 8a or 9a. So we'll see...

If they put out the game at midnight, the only problem with Walmart would be that you can only get the limited edition at Gamestop. I'd check with the Walmart near me, but I don't want to miss out on the extra stuff.

Damn. You may be right. I'll check...but I may have to sit it out til the morning. I wish folks from LBI could talk GS into doing a mindnight release or something...especially since they wanted to offer a LE for the game.

If I have the extra cash I may attempt a Walmart run. I can always sell that copy to my brother and still get the LE at Gamestop.

Walmart near me is releasing at midnight. So I will be grabbing the game late tonight.

I checked with the Walmarts near me. They all close at midnight. 10 AM tomorrow it is.
